How We Got Started
The Game Chamber™ was created last May, 2006, by Michael Rosenberg, Founder and CEO of Daze Products™, Inc. The father of four children, the idea was born out of his own frustration with games constantly being lost, broken and destroyed, not to mention the clutter left on the floor. “As every parent of young children can attest, it’s nerve-racking to, time and again, incur the expense of having to replace these games,” said Rosenberg. “I couldn’t find an organizer that both protected the games and our investment in them, so I created one that serves both purposes.”

Daze Products™, Inc. is a leading provider of organizational products for the interactive audio/video gaming industry. The company’s mission is to create innovative solutions that make a difference in people’s lives by simultaneously protecting their investment while organizing their media. One important way Daze is making a difference is that its products help parents teach kids how to take responsibility for their personal belongings. Daze accomplishes this while sending a message to kids that being organized is fun and improves their gaming experience. The increasing popularity of high-tech toys—along with the astronomical growth in electronic game consoles and portable devices, combined with music, photography, commercial and home video CD’s and DVD’s—has created a market need for a convenient locking organizer that safeguards the games and media from being lost or damaged. In the gaming market alone, the evidence speaks for itself:
In response to this huge demand, Daze Products™ will be the first to market in debuting its flagship product, The Game Chamber™, this year at The 2007 American International Toy Fair in New York City, Booth 3114. The Game Chamber™ is geared towards the interactive gaming market and is the brainchild of Daze Founder and CEO Michael Rosenberg. The father of four children, the idea was born out of his own frustration of games being lost, broken and destroyed.
The Game Chamber™ prevents children from losing or damaging their games because they have to put the game cartridge or CD/DVD they are playing with away if they want to play with another one. The Game Chamber™ is perfect for storing movies, games or videos, which may be on a variety of media (cartridges, UMD Cards, CD’s, or DVDs).

Innovative locking storage unit saves parents hundreds of dollars in lost or damaged games while teaching children about taking responsibility for their belongings
MELVILLE, NY (February 5, 2007) – It’s every parent’s biggest annoyance come to life: You spend hundreds of dollars to buy your child their favorite handheld video games only to see your hard earned money go down the drain when they get lost or damaged.
We’ve just picked up on a press release that’s offering a solution to the problem of how to sensibly store our collection of DS and GBA cartridges. Given that a DS game card is roughly the size and shape of a portly postage stamp, it’s no wonder we’re scared of losing them. Like the time we dropped Yoshi’s Island 2 into the ham and pickle sandwich we were making only to become painfully aware of its whereabouts a couple of days later (it still works, though!). We have nothing to blame but our slovenly nature for leaving our carts strewn about in the first place. Mercifully, Daze Products are on hand with the Game Chamber, a storage medium that should solve all our problems.
How? By working on a strict ‘one in, one out’ rule. Once you’ve slotted your games into the Game Chamber, a turn of the rotating wheel allows access to your current preference, which can only be changed for another once the original is back in place. As the marketing points out, it’s an ideal disciplinary gift for the child of any parent who can’t abide mess, loss or the indefatigable pickiness of kids. Meanwhile, we’ve already filed our copycat patent for a Russian Roulette version in which one chamber contains a copy of Bubble Bobble Revolution and doesn’t let you change until you’ve played a good, solid four hours of it.

As a parent of a child that has many Daze Products realized there is nothing out there to store these little game cartridges and to ensure only one game could be out at a time. So they developed the Game Chamber, a device designed to hold up to eight Nintendo DS games and only allow one game to be out of the chamber at a time.
While I was at CES 2008, Daze Products provided me with one of the Game Chambers to try out with my son. We will take a look at the Game Chamber provided and how it performed, but first let's look at some published data taken from the Game Chamber website... Are your Nintendo DS games getting lost or damaged? When video games are costing $20 - $60 each, owning a Game Chamber is no longer a luxury, it’s become a necessity! Are your video games ending up on the living room floor, under sofa cushions, behind car seats, or being left at friend’s homes only to disappear with no one having any idea where the games are? These video games cost anywhere from $20 - $50 a piece. Parents are making a large investment in getting the games the kids want, but are losing on average as much as 20% of these games because kids are not motivated to store or organize their games with the current set of organizers or options today. |
Big Buy Among Black Friday Shoppers: Daze Products' The Game Chamber
The Long Island Innovation Is a Must Have This Holiday Season
MELVILLE, NY--(Marketwire - December 16, 2008) - Holiday shoppers are always looking for a bargain and this year is no exception with the current economic climate. The Game Chamber, by Daze Products, Inc., is a great gadget that sells for less than fifteen dollars. After purchase, it continues to save the consumer money. This eliminates the risk of losing hundreds of dollars in lost or damaged video games. The DS Game Chamber is compatible with Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite games and ensures organization and security of these games.
The Game Chamber, manufactured and distributed in the United States, sold out at Walmart, Target, Scholastic.com and Toys R' Us stores on Black Friday, making it an obviously popular product this holiday season. The handheld organizer is available in pink, blue and silver, making it usable by both boys and girls alike and is intended primarily for children and teenagers, though anyone can use it.
On average, Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite games cost between twenty - fifty dollars a piece. The Game Chamber is the first device of its kind that is designed with a locking mechanism. It prevents damage or loss of the video games because one game cartridge has to be put away before another can be removed. This exemplifies how the innovators at Daze Products went beyond the typical approach to design. The company's mission is to create innovative solutions that make a difference in people's lives by simultaneously protecting their investment while organizing their media.
Michael Rosenberg, Founder and CEO of Daze Products, Inc., and father of four, thought of the idea for The Game Chamber out of his own frustration with games constantly being lost, broken and destroyed. "The Game Chamber is designed to teach kids how to take responsibility for their personal belongings while simultaneously sending a message to kids that being organized can be fun and improve their gaming experience."
The Game Chamber eliminates clutter and confusion around the house and during travel. The product has been restocked in stores and is available online for delivery to reach your home in time for the holidays.
Be sure to look out for NEW cost-effective, game storage solutions from Daze Products releasing early February 2009.
(Parents of) owners of DVDs, UMDs, and other entertainment medium may also be pleased to hear that other versions are on their way.
Well, no more, thanks to The Game Chamber™, a revolutionary new locking storage organizer from Daze Products™, Inc., that will officially launch February 11 at the 2007 International Toy Fair at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
The Game Chamber prevents children from losing or damaging their games because they have to put the game cartridge or CD/DVD they are playing with away if they want to play with another. The Game Chamber™ is perfect for storing games, movies or videos, which may be on a variety of media, i.e., cartridges, UMD Cards, CD’s, or DVD’s. Not only does it teach children personal responsibility, it also takes the strain off mom and dad’s wallet because no longer will they needlessly have to spend more money to replace lost or damaged games.
The Game Chamber was created last May by Michael Rosenberg, Founder and CEO of Daze Products™, Inc.
The Game Chamber has a rotating wheel that locks each game in place until whatever game the child has, is put back into the chamber. At that point, the child can rotate the wheel to select another game. All games are labeled so it is easy to find the next game the child wants to play.
One formerly frustrated parent who used The Game Chamber said: “Anything that saves me money and teaches children personal responsibility for their belongings is a big plus. The Game Chamber does all this and more. What better example to teach kids about what they’ll need to learn later in life than with toys?”
Another parent spoke frankly, “Each year I’m wasting as much as 20% of my original investment because of lost games. I’d rather get a Game Chamber and save the money than lose those games.”
The Game Chamber is currently available for use with the Nintendo DS® and Nintendo DS Lite®, Nintendo® Additional Game Chambers are currently being developed for release in 2nd quarter, 2010 for Nintendo Wii System, as well as for the Sony PSP (Playstation Portable), Sony PS2, PS3, the Microsoft Xbox 360 and all relevant Leapfrog products.
Daze Products™ is accepting orders for all products effective immediately, and the company is expecting heavy demand. Daze invites all Toy Fair participants to meet at the Daze Products™ booth, Booth 3114, to see a demonstration of the Game Chamber. You may place your orders either at the booth or by visiting The Game Chamber web site at www.gamechamber.com or by contacting Daze Products™ directly at 631-813-2427.
